Withings Body Pro Scale
You may be offered a scale to use. If so, we’ll set up your smart scale for you and mail it to your home. It will be ready to go right out of the box. And you can keep it when the CUT4Health program is over!
What is a smart scale?
Withings Body Pro is a very precise and easy-to use smart scale. It has been tested in studies and is based on more than 14 years of work helping people track their weight.
What will Withings Body Pro tell you?
Your weight & BMI
Your body mass index is based on your height and weight. It is one measure of your overall weight status.
Weight Trends
Each day, the scale will show you your last eight weigh-in weights. That way, you can see how your weight is changing over time.
Weather
Your scale will give you the local weather forecast for the day when you weigh yourself.
Have questions about using the scale?
Will I have to pay for the scale?
No, if we offer you a scale, we’ll send it to you for free. And you can keep it after the CUT4Health program is over.
Can other people in my house use the scale?
The scale is set up for your use only. All weights recorded by the scale will be sent to the CUT4Health team, so please don't share this device with others.
Do I need Wi-Fi or a home internet connection?
No, you do not need to have WiFi or a home internet connection to use the scale.
What happens to my information?
If you choose to get a scale, ProChange will share your name, address, email, gender, age, height and weight with the company who created the scale (Withings).
If you use the scale, the company who created the scale (Withings) will share information about your weight with the CUT4Health study team.
Withings and the CUT4Health research team take your privacy very seriously. Your information will be protected and will be kept confidential. Only people on the research team will have access to it.
