Pro-Change is excited to announce that Co-President and CEO Kerry Evers, Ph.D. has launched “The Behavior Change Architect” podcast. Having spent 30 years working in the behavior change field, Dr. Evers is excited to come together with other leaders in the field to create a mutual understanding so that, through conversations and stories, we can collaboratively build an innovative framework for behavior change.
Airing last week, the intro episode covered the reasoning to launch the podcast at this time and described its unique format. Every month or so, “The Behavior Change Architect” will provide a series of three episodes that focus on a single topic, such as a specific population, behavior, technology, communication style, or theory. Each episode will highlight a discussion between Kerry and a different guest with special expertise on the unique topic. The first episode will focus on why the topic is important to discuss. The second will discuss the state of the science concerning the topic. And finally, the third will focus on how to put the topic into practice. By the end of each series, the listener will have a well-rounded look at a specific topic within the field of behavior change and how to address it.
“Regardless of the field that you work in, it is very likely that an understanding and discussion around behavior change science will influence your work,” states Kerry. “The Behavior Change Architect Podcast is a real conversation with experts about innovative, evidence-based, behavior change strategies that increase well-being.”|
The first series, which will be available in December, will include guests Karen Moseley, Ron Goetzel, Ph.D., and Sam Dolezal, Ph.D. discussing workplace health and well-being.
